Now this is something I was thinking about since 9th grade. The main thoughts that popped into my head was what job I wanted in the future and to be honest I don't know. Also I thought about if I should even go to college or at least if I should go to college right after High School. My understanding of college is that it is just a trap. It is just a big road block in life that just puts people in depth in the future and if I don't know what I want to do for a living then why would I go right away? Also something else that popped into my head was that the people who are my friends now may not be in the future; I don't even remember half the people in middle school let alone elementary. Then I also thought about what if one of my friends or a person I know screws me out of a job, can I really blame him/her for doing the normal thing. Most of us are going to have to face these problems in life. Also the stupid things I do now. I can't keep doing in the future, it is going to catch up to me in the future later. Then I got to thinking that why would I need new friends in high school if I might not remember them ten years from now unless someone brings up their name. Then after all these questions came up you wonder if all this even matters, all this stress over good grades, keeping up with people, and even going to school. I know for a fact that most adults after they got their job they forget more then half the things they learned in school. Also why would I stress out over things like math if I'm not going to do something in math? Like if someone asks you for directions to go some were you don't say oh ya go to the street that bisects that one and you would be on a parallel street next to that big sphere (actually you might describe that part) and walk the length of the radius. You go to a person and say that their going to look at you like your crazy. That goes for all subjects that you think you don't really need. What is going to happen after this, I mean at the end of the day the reality is that were going to die so...... hmmmm. Well this entire blog I babbled about something that is way over my head right now, but it was on my mind.
So what do you think about all this?

How Much Longer Can Cable last?
Well I know not many of you are aware of this, but there are a lot of people who are canceling their cable subscription. People are choosing a more alternative route to cable use through things like Netflix and Hulu Plus. There are also other reasons people are doing this, some might not even have the time to watch TV, all of their favorite shows are canceled, and the big reason is the Internet. All the things that a person would want to see is on the Internet you just got to go searching for it. Now you don't need to be in front of a computer screen all day to watch things like Netflix and Hulu because there are alternatives such as buying simple things like an Xbox one, a Xbox 360, a PS3, and a PS4. There are also other things you can hook up to your TV that could provide you with the ability to watch Netflix and things. For example you can use a Streaming Internet Player. It is simple to hook up and us. Another reason people are canceling their cable subscriptions is because of the those stupid lucrative contracts the cable companies are putting out. The company needs to make money I get it, but they when you sign the contract usually what happens is that the next month or two your bill will rise and when you try to call and find out what happened they will put you on hold. Not the fact that once you get a hold of someone they will transfer you to other people who you need to wait for as well and then they will transfer you and the cycle will end until you reach the person who has your answer except you were put on hold for so long you forgot why you even called. Cable seems to be dying fast with the rise of the Internet, Netflix, Hulu, and other things because they don't really raise prices or have lucrative contracts (depending on who you getting your Internet from and what sites you are watching).
I personally have no problem with canceling my cable because I barley watch TV to begin with. I would rather watch a free movie on Netflix then pay $5.99 for a movie that is on demand. Plus you gotta think, a one month subscription to Netflix is only $13 (give or take a $ or so) and Netflix has plenty of movies and shows that can keep you busy. So ya I'm going to side with the people that are canceling their cable subscription.

Google or Bing
Well today I'm going to be talking about Google and Bing, the two big search engines now and of course there is Yahoo as well but that is a discussion for another blog or blogger. Now Bing is a Microsoft search engine and is the second most recommended search engine. Then there is Google who seems to own everything. So lets get started on the best and worst parts of each search engine.
Bing was first introduced by Microsoft' CEO Steve Ballmer on May 2009 and was fully operational on June 2009. So it is still a baby compared to Google, but being owned by Microsoft gives it's name a lot of prestige. Bing has almost all the features Google has, but they are lacking in a sense. Bing doesn't really have an email website like Google's GMail. What Bing did have over Google was better ability to play videos, but now since Google owns or partially owns YouTube (the current largest video playing website) Bing seems to be out of luck. Now there has also been reports about Bing becoming corrupted and taking over your homepage on your computer even though you didn't want it to do that. Some reports say that once it becomes your homepage it is really hard to set your page back even if you try and restore your computer or removing Bing from your set homepage. Personally I have never had this problem, but there has been many cases of this happening. People go as far as to say that it is like the my start search engine in a sense that you don't want to be on it, you don't want it to be your homepage, and you don't want it to start giving you viruses. I think that that is a step to far because unlike my start it doesn't randomly download malware on to your computer in hopes that it can keep you away from being able to remove it from your homepage. Now what Bing has been accused of doing is not properly checking websites for unexpected viruses, but if you say that then Google hasn't been good at doing that either. Something that Bing has that google doesn't it the use of a security block. This means you can set it so that "dirty videos" don't pop up out of no where. Bing also has pretty good maps, it will give you directions of how to get somewhere, but it's placement is not so good. So there plenty of things that Bing can do to improve itself so it can catch up with Google.
Now Google on the other hand seems to be trying to crush Bing. Google bought YouTube which helps big time. Google has been around for what seems like forever and you can basically find anything you want on it. It a search engine that basically does your job for you. Google has basically every website link on it so this does mean you are going to run into a virus or two, but in my opinion if you go on a site you don't know or if the name itself sounds suspicious then it is your fault that you got that virus. That could be said for any search engine you use, but since Google has the most website links and things you shouldn't find yourself in a problem where you get a virus. One thing that is pretty creepy is that Google does track what your doing and no it is not just a rumor it is true. Even if you clean your search history, delete all the cookies, Google stores all the things in some sort of hard drive that police and other hacker groups maybe able to get a hold of. Honestly I'm not really bothered by it all that often because the things Google stores is supposed to help with your search because it better understands the things you are looking for. Another little problem Google has to face is the fact that it get into legal problems a lot, but I mean come on with all the websites Google has on it there are bound to be some certificate errors and other things like that.
So at the end of the day Google is my favorite search engine and will continue to be my favorite search engine, but it does get annoying sometimes because it has so many websites on it, it gets a little hard to find the exact thing you are looking for, but you will find it eventually. I mean you will find the exact thing your looking for or at least something pretty close to it on Google you just got to take time out your day and skip through all of the pages that Google has. Bing is still young and developing website that will continue to grow and will go in the right direction if Microsoft doesn't shut it down. It is a search engine on the rise and might one day top Google in success because all Google needs to do is mess up once.
So what is your favorite search engine?
If you don't use Google, Bing or even Yahoo then what search engine do you use?

Summer Break Coming Fast
So the school year is almost up which to me this year went by really fast and I'm happy and all, but it felt like just last week it was still January. It wasn't like the school just begun, but I'm talking about after the Christmas break. Well any ways besides that the kids finally get time away from all the work and drama taking place in which we rightfully deserve. We only got one road bump left to go and that is the regents and after that were home free (except if you got Summer school). The two or like three months we got off may seem like a lot now, but to me it ends really fast. The time off seems to only be like two weeks at least in my eyes what about you? So what are things your going to do on your time off? I want to just get away from everyone and finally have time for myself. I'm I wrong for saying that, I think not. Now summer break isn't just for us, there for the teachers to. You know the ones that have been nagging you, calling your home, getting you suspended, and giving hard tests. They also got time off from you, the kid who never follows directions, lesson, or even care about whats going on. So they get to finally go home and relax. Even from the kids that always do work, secretly I think they don't like you either because your just giving them more work to grade at home (its a loose- loose situation for the teacher in my eyes). So if your a teacher reading this what are you going to do on vacation? Or are you one of those unlucky ones that have to teach Summer school? In the end to me the only one how really looses are your parents because they have to out up with your bad grades, your teachers, and you for the entire year.
This was just a short little blog that should cover my week so I don't have to post anymore up. So if your not a student and you actually found this blog over thousands of other blogs what do you do on summer? Do you also get time off? What do you think of summer (do you like it, hate it, anything)?

Marvel or DC
The two power houses in comic books, Marvel and DC which one would you side with. If your like me then you don't read many comics unless you see them and you have nothing else to do, but if you do read a lot of them what do you think. Personally I don't really go out of my way to read comics, but when I do I personally like reading the ones about Spider Man and Batman because at the end of the day those two in my opinion would kick any ones butt, but the problem is they are with different companies. So my favorite one above all else is Batman so I guess that means my favorite superhero brand would have to be DC. So I'm going to give a brief history on the two companies so IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ ABOUT IT THEN SKIP THE NEXT BIG PARAGRAPHS.
DC is a Warner Bros company entertainment and they are basically owned by Time Warner. So based on what I've heard the majority of people believe that DC is the longest and so far most successful comic book franchise, but Marvel fans argue and stats that DC superheros are just overpowered. If you kinda think about it aren't most superheros overpowered, but Marvel fans do have a good point because who entire every single superhero is more overpowered then the one the only Superman. He is the golden boy who has put them on the top and made them millions along the way. Now besides that DC does have other characters that are very well known and some of them are not just heroes. There are plenty of characters like the Joker, Two Face, Doomsday, Apocalypse, Black Adam, and of course others as well but I do not have the time to talk about all of them. The other pretty notable heroes DC has is Batman, the Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Women, Aqua Man, Green Arrow and of course others. DC has also made some very successful cartoon series like Justice League and Justice League unlimited. There were others like Batman the animated series, Superman the animated series (of course), and Batman Beyond. Just like everything else there are plenty of other cartoon series that they made and basically defined a generation of little kids back in the day and even now. DC will always hold a very special place in comic lovers hearts and will continue to do so for hopefully years to come.

Now for the other comic company, Marvel. Marvel to me has a lot more heroes that I like personally, like Iron Man, Captain American, The Hulk, and of course Spider man (who in my opinion has way to much movies). Now Marvel may not be as successful as DC in the comic department, but they are better at bringing them to life on the big screen. Besides animated and in the recent years Marvel had a major bang on when it hit the big screen. With the success with the Spider-Man and Amazing Spider-Man series Marvel has been on top of the movie industry with the web crawler's growing fan base. Also with the Iron Man trilogy and the two Captain America movies they made enough to have a swimming pool ten feet deep with money. Marvel has also done something that is very difficult and that is bring the Avengers to life. A movie that is full of superhero's seems difficult, but with a villain like Loki it was easy. They successfully hinted the Avengers movie in the past Iron man, Hulk, and Captain America movies, something which made the fans excited to see it. They have also hinted the Avengers 2 in the end credits of the Avengers one while DC has yet to really answer that with bringing to life the Justice League movie, but it may be hinted in the new Batman vs Superman movie coming out in the near future.

On top of all this Marvel also put on really successful X-Men movies. A movie that has Wolverine the most if not one of the most awesome superheros (wanted to describe him in another word, but I'm not sure if I am allowed to do that so ya...) it is pretty easy to fill the box office, but put him side by side with the other members of the X-Men then your just being greedy.

Now Marvel may have put out these really awesome movies, but they had put out some not so good ones. A good example of this would be the Ghost Rider series. Me personally I like the movies, but based on a lot of reviews it seems like the movies were a big let down. Either way Marvel has successfully put out a movie that did pretty well in the box office whether you liked it or not because to review the movie you needed to buy the ticket to go see it right?

Now DC has had good movies out like the Batman movies that to me is the best that there going to get, like there is no way DC can top those movies they were that good. DC also released the Man of Steel movie which was pretty good, but to me doesn't compare to the Marvel movies. The Batman movies though are my favorite movies they have ever released. Come on you can't beat the bat, its impossible. Either way to me a superhero based company should be judged by the comics because that is where the hero's were born so DC is the better brand. Then again this is coming from someone who doesn't read comics that often.
Which do you think is better?
